While reviewing the last technology being studied within stem cell research companies, we started to get a list of companies that are focused on or working directly within the stem cell field. These are the stem cell research companies we have found or written on thusfar.

Below is a brief synopsis of what the company areas of focus are and the treatments or procedures they are currently involved in.

Additionally, we have started creating some more detailed pages linked to the most recent articles about these companies that we have found. Hope this helps, and we will be adding more to this as we continue to get cleaned up here.

For right now, we are focusing on the biggest or most well known stem cell companies. Hopefully as this progresses, we will add in more. The News determines the need. Updated March 13,2006.

Aastrom Biosciences (NASDAQ:ASTM)

Aastrom Biosciences is developing proprietary adult stem cell-based products for the regenerative repair of damaged human tissues and other medical disorders. AVI BioPharma (NASDAQ:AVII)
