The current research involves well known products such as Retin-A and Minoxidil which are widely used products for hair loss treatment procedures. Another study, which was released in the April 2004 edition of Nature Biotechnology called "Capturing and profiling adult follicle stem cells," demonstrated that stem cells found in the hair follicles of mice could through genetic therapy develop into new hair follicles and even skin.
As we had seen already, it appears that stem cells are the key to reversing male and female pattern baldness and other hair-loss related problems.
