Bio-Matrix Scientific Sees Completion of New Stem Cell Cryogenic Labs in December

The Company believes it will see revenue from stem cell banking within the first quarter of 2006.
Bio-Matrix' new 15,000 sq. ft. facility, located in the heart of the San Diego biotechnology corridor, is currently in the process of being upgraded in order to house the Company's state-of-the-art secure Cryogenic Stem Cell Bank, 3 Research labs, aseptic cellular/tissue processing rooms, hematology, microbiology and flow cytometry laboratories.
Dr. Geoffrey O'Neill, President of Bio-Matrix, stated, "We intend for The Bio-Matrix' laboratories to be a state-of-the-art, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and good tissue practices (cGTP) compliant facility. The Company has contracted with Carda Construction, which is a San Diego-based Construction Company and experts in Laboratory and Clean Room construction."
Bio-Matrix' Managing Director, Brian Pockett, stated, "This represents a major milestone towards full cryogenic operations. We believe that the construction of Cryogenic labs and new clean rooms will assure the superior competitiveness of Bio-Matrix and the company's greater responsiveness to the growing demand for Stem Cell Cryogenics in an increasingly strong market."
