LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 - Cord Blood America, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:CBAI), the umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company which is focused on bringing the life saving potential of stem cells to families nationwide, today in a World Talk Radio interview with Chairman and CEO Matthew L. Schissler said the Company is outpacing the industry with its performance year after year.

"We are still in the awareness stage in explaining to families the
importance of banking umbilical cord blood cells," Mr. Schissler told Francis Gaskins, the World Talk Radio interviewer. In 2003, he explained, only five percent of the four million women who delivered babies knew about banking their umbilical cord, with 70,000 families, or 2 percent, actually taking advantage of this life-saving procedure. That number of cord blood samples stored grew by 75 percent in 2004 and is expected to grow again by 75 percent, to 5 percent of all births, in 2005.

Mr. Schissler emphasized that Cord Partners provides private umbilical cord blood storage services, which means the stem cells are banked for future use only by the family for treatment against life threatening diseases including certain types of leukemia and other cancers later in life. Current research is showing the possibility that these cells will play a key role in the future in spinal cord repair, regenerating heart tissue to solve heart disease, and battling Alzheimer's disease, Cord Blood America's CEO said. "As we educate families, more realize just throwing away the umbilical cord blood doesn't make sense," Mr. Schissler said.

Cord Blood America's CEO also explained to World Talk Radio the variables allowing the Company to outperform its competitors, including a better marketing program with an outstanding web site (http://www.cordpartners.com) and a pricing program that is much more affordable. "Our pricing model, with no money down at birth, is revolutionary," Mr. Schissler said.
