Bio-Matrix Retains Patent Attorney to Assist in Patent Filing
Related News: Stem Cell CompaniesBio-Matrix Scientific Group Inc. (BMXG) has retained a Patent Attorney to assist in preparing to file its first patent relating to stem cell instruments. Dr. Phil Watts, the Company's Director of Research and Development said, "I believe the Company has reached a significant milestone in designing its first set of stem cell related instruments. I am extremely excited that we are at the point of preparing to file patent applications."
With the retention of a patent attorney, the Company feels it is ready to prepare the application for patenting these medical devices. Bio-Matrix' President Brian Pockett stated, "We intend to develop and market medical devices which will bring major changes to the industry and its procedures, leading to greater success in outcomes for medical researchers, physicians and patients."
Recognizing the need to protect its intellectual proprietary, the Company feels retaining a Patent Attorney is the first major step in protecting the future profitability of the Company and its product lines. The patent attorney will handle all patent applications, patent defenses, trademark applications, copyright applications and licensing agreements on behalf of Bio-Matrix Scientific Group Inc.
