He is among a growing number of scientists looking into the overall potential of mining a persons fat layers and harvesting from it stem cells that have the potential to develop into many forms, from muscle to blood. Obviously for the heart treatment, this would point to a focus which many sufferers of say excessive fat layers would point to the heart.
