Tax Revenues from Cosmetic Surgery for Stem Cell Research

Taking the lead somewhat from California, Illinois is evaluating setting aside tax revenue for Stem Cell Research. This tax revenue would be derived from state taxes on that is currently levied on face-lifts, Botox fun, and ever the favortie liposuction as well as other procedures.

The overall benefit, if it passes a vote, would mean an additional $15 Million in grants for Illinois universities and medical researchers focusing on Stem Cell Research.
