Corporate Summary (site quote):

Founded in 1993, BioE, Inc. develops high quality, antibody-based technologies used to create a variety of leading-edge diagnostic and therapeutic products designed to continually improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

The company has three primary technology platforms:

PrepaCyte® Blood Processing Systems - This unique technology is used to separate therapeutically important cells, including stem cells, from various blood sources, including umbilical cord blood and bone marrow. The isolated cells can then be used for clinical purposes such as transplantation and regenerative medicine applications.

Diagnostic Binding Pairs - This patented technology can simultaneously, but independently, detect both members of a binding pair, such as in an immune complex (virus and/or antibody) within a biological sample. This technology can be used in diagnostic applications, for blood screening and as a drug discovery tool.

Alzheimer’s Iron Dysregulation - This revolutionary technology may determine through a simple, inexpensive bloodtest if a patient has or will develop Alzheimer's disease, for which no such diagnostic exists. Currently, this technology is the subject of U.S.clinical trials.

BioE will commercialize these powerful, enabling technologies by partnering with leading health care companies through collaborations and licensing agreements æ allowing patients to be treated for diseases earlier and promoting better patient outcomes.
